Subaru is recalling 15,633 Baja sport-trucks from the 2005 and 2006 model years to fix faulty fuel system hardware. The fuel pump nipple may crack leading to a fuel leak and fire if near any kind of ignition source.
Dealers will replace all necessary parts with a stronger design free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in September. Owners can contact Subaru at 800-782-2783 and reference recall No. WVJ-20 or visit the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration's website to learn more about recall No. 09V277000.
